1940s-50s AMERICAN LEAGUE STARS SIGNED BASEBALLS

24 hand-signed baseballs from some of the American League's greatest players of the 1940s and '50s. 11 HOF balls, including an unusual Yogi Berra signed ball as 'Larry Yogi Berra'; other AL HOFer signed balls include Luis Aparicio, Brooks Robinson, Hal Newhouser, Larry Doby, George Kell, Bob Feller, Harmon Killebrew, Whitey Ford, Bobby Doerr and Phil Rizzuto. All of the above are OAL (Budig) baseballs except for Ford's and Aparicio's which are OML (Selig) balls. Other AL stars in this lot include: Don Larsen (x2), Rocky Colavito, Jim 'Mudcat' Grant, Clete Boyer, Herb Score, Johnny Pesky, Bobby Richardson, Minnie Minoso, Tony Kubek, Frank Baumann, Ned Garver and Jimmy Piersall. When the Yankees ruled the world in the 1950s, these are the players that played for and against them. A great lot for the vintage AL fan. (PSA/DNA LOA)
