Twenty-seven (27) players from the 1967 National League All-Star team hand-signed this ONL (Giles) baseball. This ball runs the gamut of Hall-of-Fame greats from the era: Orlando Cepeda on the sweet spot (shared with Tom Haller), Juan Marichal, Don Drysdale, Tony Perez, Bob Gibson, Tom Seaver, Bill Mazeroski, Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Fergie Jenkins, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente and Lou Brock. Other players on this historic ball: Pete Rose, Dick Allen, Jimmy Wynn, Joe Torre, Tim McCarver, Tommy Helms, Gene Alley, Mike Cuellar, Denny LeMaster, Chris Short, Claude Osteen, Tony Gonzalez, and Rusty Staub. Unfortunately, many of these signatures have faded with time, especially Clemente, Banks and Jenkins. Signatures in either black or blue ink. The National League won this particular All-Star game by a 2-to-1 score in the 15th inning thanks to game MVP Tony Perez's home run; the '67 mid-summer classic is still the longest All-Star game to date.
