Longtime White Sox Second Baseman Nelson 'Nellie' Fox has hand-signed this mid-60s era postcard. In the twilight of his playing career, Fox played for the Houston Colt-45's/Astros, so he would have signed this particular item sometime between 1964 and 1975, the year of his death. His election to the Hall-of-Fame in 1997 has made his uncommon signature all the more valuable, in this case especially so since he has signed as Nellie and not Nelson. The black ink signature itself is somewhat light, but very legible; authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. The B&W postcard itself measures 3¼" X 5½", with some surface marks and has slightly creased bottom corners. A superb addition to your Hall-of-Fame autograph collection.
