1947 ST LOUIS CARDINALS SIGNED TICKET ORDER FORM

An interesting and unusual item, a vintage Ticket Order form signed by multiple Cardinal players from the era. The blank order form is specifically for the 'Big Three', referring to the Opening Day game, April 18th, 1948, and subsequent two games, all against the Chicago Cubs. This 6x8" beige manila form is in excellent condition, with only about an inch worth of perforation torn. Surrounding the B&W picture of the then World Champion 1946 Cardinal team are various autographs: HOFers Stan Musial, Enos Slaughter and Red Schoendienst; other players that have signed include 'Mr. Shortstop' Marty Marion, Joe Garagiola, Ken Burkhart and Whitey Kurkowski. All have signed in blue ink pen. The form itself is personally addressed to an 'M.L. Hawkins' of Hannibal MO. A neat item, especially for fans of the Cardinals' greatest era, the 1940s.
