1963 WIRE PHOTO OF MUSIAL AFTER TYING RECORD

A 7½"x9½" B&W wire photograph of Stan Musial after the game where he tied Babe Ruth's record for extra base hits (1356). Musial would eventually go on to hit 1377 by the end of his last season in 1963 - a mark later surpassed by Hank Aaron and Barry Bonds. The picture itself portrays a happy Stan the Man in the locker room, with a bat and two baseballs in his hands. Except for slightly worn corners, photograph is in excellent condition with nary a scuff or scrape. Nice!
