Dedicated to owner Charlie Comiskey, this century-old sheet music for the 'White Sox March' was composed by T.F. Durand and published by Tomaz Deuther in Chicago. The music celebrates the World Champion Chicago White Sox, who had beaten the crosstown Cubs the previous season in the first subway series. The sheet music measures 14"x10" and is in great shape for a 100-year old large booklet. The cover is stylized with crossed bats, white socks, and other baseball items on an orange field; in the center is a collage of the player photographs in an Art-Nouveau style, with Comiskey in the center. A somewhat odd but certainly interesting piece of memorabilia, a great conversation piece for the diehard White Sox fan.
