1935 GAME-USED BASEBALL

An Official National League baseball (Frick), exhibiting strong game-use, dirt and scuffing mostly. Some one has printed on one of the panels 'Compliments of George Kelley, Cincinnati Reds, August 8, 1936'. HOFer Kelly himself would not have written this, as his name is misspelled on the ball (unless he was careless!). So it is difficult to tell exactly the circumstances behind this baseball, but it is at least vintage, if not used during a Reds game by George Kelly.
