1940s-50s BASEBALL EXHIBIT CARD VENDING MACHINE

This steel vending machine measures 24"x12"x10", retains its original working parts, including its door, release lever, internal workings and key, with maintenance instructions inside. Back in the late 1940s and well into the 1950s, you could insert two pennies, pull the lever and the machine would produce a 3-3/8"x5-5/8" B&W Exhibit card of a contemporary baseball player. This machine does not come with any of these cards, and the original advertising on the front has been replaced with a modern replica using original cards. Steel does show some wear typical of its age. Certainly a great conversation piece for the vintage collector.
