1950s-60s VINTAGE SPORTS PUBLICATIONS

More than 20 vintage Sports publications, usually magazines or game programs, unsigned. First and foremost, offered is a Cubs Year Book from 1951 in excellent shape; only flaw besides mild edge wear is the upper left corner has slight damage. Also, several early Sports Illustrateds, including the first issue from August 16th, 1954, plus two others from same year (9/27 and 10/4); first SI is in Very Good to Excellent condition, while the other two slightly worn but in Good condition. Several individual game programs also found in this lot: the Davis Cup Challenge Round program from 1959 (VG); several college football games, including the Army-Syracuse game from 11/5/60 (G-VG), the Dartmouth-Brown game from 10/12/57 (VG), the Homecoming game between Harvard and Brown from 11/14/59 (G-VG), two Columbia-Brown programs, 9/27/58 (Poor, torn cover) and 9/24/60 (Good); a 1960-61 program for a New York Rangers v Boston Bruins hockey game (G-VG); the Colts-Bears game from 9/27/64 program (PR-FR), and the Colts-Vikings game from 11/15/64 program (Good); and three Boston Red Sox official programs and scorecards, from 1954, 1957 and 1962, all in Good condition. Also included, ten 'Who's Who In Baseball' magazines from 1949 to 1961, all Poor to Fair condition. All grades approximate. If you collect vintage pubs, this lot might be appealing to you.
