'Steady Eddie' was always taken for granted, good for 20+ homers for 15 seasons and over 80 RBIs for 17 seasons out of 21 played, Murray managed to hit over 500 home runs in his career without topping 33 in a season. He is a member of the 3000 hit club, batting .287 over his career. Oddly, Murray never won an MVP Award though he finished in the top 5 six times, including finishing second twice (behind two other HOFers, Robin Yount in 1982 and teammate Cal Ripken Jr in 1983). Offered in this lot, a Eddie Murray professional model Louisville Slugger Genuine M275 bat, hand-signed on the sweet spot by Murray in black sharpie; the inscription under his elegant signature states '504 HRs'.
