Nine game used baseball bats, all used by former or current St. Louis Cardinals, some signed. Most bats exhibit usage of pine tar and several have cracks. Bat listing follows: 34" Scott Rolen Genuine C271 Louisville Slugger, with pine tar, several scuff marks, and small crack, with #27 marked on both bat ends, unsigned; 34" Ray Lankford black model Rawlings Big Stick, scuff marks with significant crack, #16 on barrel end, unsigned; 34" Nike Alan Benes model, used in 1998, significant usage noted on barrel end, major crack, #41 on both ends, hand-signed by Benes in silver sharpie; 34" Rawlings Tom Pagnozzi Pro Model Big Stick, with barrel scuffing, broken and held together with tape, #19 on both ends; 34" Genuine P72 Tom Lawless Louisville Slugger, some pine tar, mild scuffing on barrel, #12 on both ends; 32" Genuine C243 Placido Polanco Louisville Slugger, black model, #27 on the knob, crack in handle, hand-signed by Polanco in silver sharpie; 34.5" black Canadian KB1 'Sam Bat' Mike Matheny model, #22 on both ends, dimensions written on barrel end, crack on handle, signed by Matheny in silver sharpie, along with 'John 3:16' inscription; 32" Mizuno Pro So Taguchi model, no crack but the handle is bathed in pine tar, some scuffing on the barrel, #99 on both ends, and carries So's blue sharpie signature (English and Kanji script); finally, 34" bat from closer Jason Isringhausen, Genuine R221 'Izzy' Louisville Slugger, pine tar, some scuffing - supposedly used in 2003, a year in which he had only two at-bats (one was a triple with three RBIs!) - bat is hand-signed in black sharpie, with #44 noted on both ends.
