1969-70 TOPPS 'TALL-BOY' BASKETBALL CARDS

Over 300 cards from the unusually tall (4-11/16"x2½") Topps series of basketball cards from 1969-70 and 1970-71. The former set was Topps' first basketball card offering since the 1957-58 season. Condition of these 40 cards ranges from VG-EX to EX-MT (grading approximate). Some notable highlights from first set: #20 John Havilcek RC, #25 Lew Alcindor RC (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), #35 Elgin Baylor (x2) and #60 Willis Reed RC. The 1970-71 group has 267 cards representing 150 different cards (i.e. duplicates exist). Majority of these cards are nearer to EX-MT than VG-EX. Highlights too numerous to mention, but includes #75 Alcindor and #123 Pete Maravich RC. Great starter collection of Basketball cards from this late vintage era.
