ST LOUIS HAWKS AUTOGRAPHED ITEMS

The Hawks franchise spent 13 seasons in St Louis, producing some outstanding professional basketball; only one year did the team not make the playoffs. The Hawks even took away one conference title from the dynastic Celtics team in 1957-58. Offered are several multi-signed items with members of these illustrious teams. Seven Hawk players from this period hand-signed 11"x14" photo-collage commemorating the Hawks 'Greats': HOFer Bob Pettit, HOFer Ed Macauley, HOFer Slater Martin, HOFer Clyde Lovellette, HOFer Cliff Hagan, Lou Hudson and Zelmo Beaty. Also found here an autographed book, "Full Court: The Untold Stories of the St Louis Hawks" by Greg Marecek; Pettit and Macauley also signed this book, along with four other players from this era including Bud Blattner, Charlie Share, Al Ferrari and Harry Gallatin. Photo signed in blue sharpie while the book has been signed in black felt-tip and blue ballpoint. Finally, a couple vintage St Louis Hawks programs, both hand-signed by seven of the above players: Beaty, Macauley, Pettit, Hudson, Lovellette, Hagan and Martin. A nice grouping of autographed commemorative items for those St Louisans who long for another local professional basketball franchise. (PSA/DNA LOA)
