A sweet grouping of vintage football cards from the mid-1950s. This 100+ card collection contains 17 from the 1955 Topps 'All-American' set and 85 from the '56 Topps set. The overall card condition about VG, with many examples higher including: from '55 Topps, #27 Red Grange (EX), #6 Niles Kinnick (VG-EX), #97 Don Hutson (Short Print, VG), #61 Charles Brickley (SP, EX), #77 Bowden Wyatt (SP, VG-EX), #38 Amos Alonzo Stagg (VG+), #35 Tom Harmon (SP, EX), and #52 John Lujack (EX); from '56 Topps, #53 Frank Gifford (VG-EX), #101 Rosie Grier (VG-EX) and #86 Y.A. Tittle (VG-EX). Also included are a handful of 1954 Bowman and Topps baseball cards, most notably Bowman #15 Richie Ashburn (EX). A nice starter grouping for the vintage football card enthusiast.
