(SCV$1700) This collection of cards from the 1956 Topps set contains 102 of the 120 cards in the series. Most of the missing cards are primarily Team cards, plus key card George Blanda (#11) is also missing among a handful of others. Most cards range from GD-VG to VGEX for condition, with surface wear and wrinkles being the main issue; corners generally sharp with little rounding. Many cards here are off-center, so inspection is suggested. Some key HOFers in this group: Y.A. Tittle (#86, GD-VG), Ollie Matson (#58, GD-VG), and Lenny Moore RC (#60, GD). Also in this batch, Roosevelt 'Rosie' Grier RC (#101, VG+) who later became famous as a TV personality as well as one of Robert Kennedy's personal bodyguards. All ratings approximate.
