In the mid-1960s, the Philadelphia issues of football cards showcased the NFL players exclusively, while Topps covered only the American Football League. This near complete set is the third of four straight 198-card sets. This set is notable for the rookie cards of Hall-of-Famers Paul Krause, Paul Warfield, Carl Eller and Charley Taylor. This very attractive near complete set is missing only following 13 cards (#s): 6,62,70,113,122,123,138(Ringo),140,162,178,186 and 190. Condition across the board is Excellent, with exception of the checklist cards which display unsuccessful attempts at mark erasing. Otherwise outstanding find and great addition to your vintage card collection.
