Nine Cardinal mini-helmets, hand-signed by members of the 'Big Red', the team's nickname while in St. Louis, now of course playing in Arizona. Seven of these players played for teams during what were arguably the best string of seasons for the franchise, 1974 through 1976, when the Cardinals went a combined 31-11. Of these players only Hall-of-Fame safety Larry Wilson was not a part of these teams, finishing his career in 1972. The other seven signers are: HOF tight end Jackie Smith (x2), HOF cornerback Roger Wehrli, quarterback Jim Hart, wide receiver Mel Gray, running back Terry Metcalf, kicker Jim Bakken, and perhaps the dirtiest player in the NFL at the time, offensive guard Conrad Dobler. Smith, Dobler and Wehrli all signed in red sharpie, while Wilson, Gray and Metcalf signed in black sharpie. Many Big Red memories to be had with this group of signed mini-helmets. (PSA/DNA LOA)
