The World Hockey Association (WHA) was the main competition to the NHL throughout the 1970s. They signed many NHL stars, including 'Mr. Hockey' Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull. This set features players from that league during the 1977-78 season. Overall condition of these cards is EX-MT to NM-MT. The corners on these cards are very sharp, mostly without noticeable touches. When removed from the plastic sheets, these cards' borders retain a snowy white appearance, as if just removed from a wax pack. Incredibly fresh group of cards from the 'alternative' hockey league.
