A hodgepodge of Sports related items, mostly baseball, housed in three full three-ring binders. The first binder is a tribute to Hall-of-Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander. It carries several retro-style baseball cards, a vintage Exhibit card, a 'Who's Who' in baseball book from 1919 (fair), a 1918 newspaper clipping about Alexander, and six vintage wire photos of Alexander, all after retirement (i.e. not 'in action'). The other two binders carry a wide array of items, many autographed. There are many postcards and 5"x7" photos of players that have been autographed. Some of the players with signatures: Al Kaline, Kirby Puckett, Chase Utley, Scott Rolen, Gordie Howe, Larry Csonka, Stan Musial, Joe Sakic, Enos Slaughter, Lou Brock, Ozzie Smith, Jimmy Rollins, Gaylord Perry, Lou Boudreau, Cole Hamels, Burleigh Grimes, Robin Roberts, Monte Irvin, Whitey Ford, Brooks Robinson, and many more. Also, many unsigned items such as a grouping of 25 vintage postcards depicting old Busch Stadium from the 1960s. Also, many retro-cards from the 1973 TCMA series which depict vintage Hall-of-Famers in exhibit style postcards (only a handful of these are signed). Many retro-style baseball cards, usually depicted as T206-style or Bowman or Allen & Ginter, etc. Also, some more oddball items here like a Sandy Koufax Auravision talking 45 RPM album, in Excellent condition (comes with vintage advertisement). Something for everyone in this diverse grouping of memorabilia.
