Over 50 vintage Sports Illustrated magazines, all autographed by the person featured on the cover. All four major American sports featured, with issues spanning from magazine's first year, 1954, through the end of the 1960s. Oldest from 11/22/1954 with HOF quarterback Y A Tittle on the cover. There are 11 hand-signed issues from the 1950s, 16 from 1960 to 1964, and 27 from 1965 to '69 offered in this lot. Other highlights include: Duke Snider autographed 6/27/55 issue; Paul Hornung, 10/29/56; Gordie Howe, signing as 'Mr. Hockey', 3/18/57; Red Schoendienst, 6/6/60; Jim Brown, 9/26/60; Luis Aparicio, 4/30/62 (x2); Whitey Ford, 9/30/63; Bobby Hull, 2/3/64; Dick Butkus, 10/12/64; Juan Marichal, 8/9/65; Gale Sayers, 9/12/66 (x2); Gaylord Perry, 9/26/66; Jim Hart, 11/27/67; Jerry West and Elgin Baylor, 4/29/68 (both signed); Denny McLain, 7/29/68; Red Berenson, 4/7/69 (x2); O.J. Magazine conditions mostly Very Good to Excellent condition, with no missing pages. Autographs are modern, and mostly in either blue, black or silver sharpie.
