Marklin Restaurant-arguably one of the scarcest and most desirable Marklin accessory buildings, this gem is decorated with cast lead flourishes surrounding 2 open windows and has an elaborate scrollwork pediment above the sliding glass center window, the roof is outlined with gilded pressed tin fretwork broken by the transfer painted sign "Restauration", beautifully hand enameled with pink and red striped exterior and a copper-toned roof, the countertop is finished with a finely executed faux-marble, a door in the rear opens to reveal a nicely detailed interior with ornamental bracket supported shelving with gallery rails, the rear door also supports a triptych mirror for display impact, a truly exceptional example of a Fantastic Marklin accessory-excellent (there is a very small dent in the roof line on the back of the building and a separated solder joint on one angle line of the roof that is only visible from the rear of the building, and there are 2 visible dings in the paint on the sign, figures are contemporary)-base 9" x 7.5", 8" t.-
