Marklin Onion Dome Station-a very fine Gauge II station featuring the great detail so typical of Marklin, the 2 roof sections remove to reveal the completely outfitted interiors of the restaurant and telegraph office, the restaurant has 2 faux marble painted tables and 4 scroll back chairs) 10 opening doors also provide access to the interiors, the station retains all of its original decorated frosted glass windows which were designed to be illuminate from the interior with candles, decorative cast metal posts support passenger restraining chains, this example was made for the German speaking market-excellent (banners and 2 roof sections have been expertly restored, missing 4 chain standards) -base 25.5" x 15.5", 14.5" t. overall-
