Russian Silver Tea & Coffee Service, ca. 1910,
five piece service including: coffeepot (8.25"), teapot, sugar with hinged cover, creamer, and handled rectangular tray; each piece of pear form with asymmetrical cartouche on body and punched band of repeating palmette design to rims and acanthus design to feet, gilt wash interiors, each bearing Russian hallmark and sponsor's touchmark in Cyrillic; the lot also includes an ornate Rococo style tea strainer with bold repousse work, pseudo hallmarks, unknown silver content. 87.15 total troy ozs.

From a private collection made in Paris, France through the 1930s and sent to family in the US.

Hinged cover on teapot is detached and missing the pins, two pins on teapot handle missing, one pin on coffeepot handle missing, expected surface scratches to tray, otherwise all pieces in very fine estate condition with no apparent dents or misshaping.
