oval form basket with applied pierced and engraved handle, the rim and foot with finely engraved floral and ribbon garland against a hand hammered ground, marked on the underside "(Whiting hallmark) / Sterling / 3012A / (1923 date letter," with original removable fitted and elaborately pierced flower grille marked with matching pattern number 3012A. 18.85 troy ozs. Condition reportSlight misshaping to foot, several light surface scratches - overall in very fine estate condition.
