Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Teapot,
ca. 1800, cylindrical body decorated with hand-painted cobalt blue and gilt floral sprays, both sides with hand-painted armorial shield with gilt monogram "JST" surrounded by a floral garland and surmounted by a pair of doves, cobalt and gilt borders to rim and foot, the lid with gilt and cobalt fruit finial, double twist handle with molded terminals also with gilt and cobalt decoration. 4.5"

Some slight wear to cobalt and gilt decoration on lid, slight roughness to edge of lid - overall in very fine condition.
