Francoise Gilot (French, b. 1921), Flowers at Sea,
gouache, signed lower right "F. Gilot," inscribed on the verso "Flowers in Front of the Sea / Gouache / 12" x 9"," a mosaic vase with a mounded floral composition rests upon a patterned tabletop, the calm sea depicted in striations of blues and pale creams synthesizing with the overall colors of the picture, under glass in a gilt wood frame with linen liner. DOA 16.5" x 13.5"; SS 11.5" x 8.5"
