19th c., reverse painting on glass depicting a rider with his dogs in chase in an open meadow; on eglomise mat with gold highlights to scene; "Huntsman and his Hounds" in gold lettering. Housed in bird's eye maple frame with gilt liner. DOA 13" x 15"; SS 7.5" x 9.5"

From a private 30 year Americana Collection.

Not examined out of frame. Some paint lifting, areas of touch ups and some loss to gilt liner.
