A THAI PARCEL GILT BLACK LACQUER DOCUMENTS BOX, early 20th century, the rectangular hinged lid intricately painted with narrative palace interior scenes, descriptive text on conforming sides, raised on shaped sloping feet incised with scrolling foliage. Note: some minor flaking on corners of feet, one corner on right front requires some restoration. Height: 4 1/8", width: 14 5/8", depth: 9 1/2".
