A JAPANESE CARVED IVORY FIGURAL GROUP, Meiji period, intricately sculpted with a waterside fisherman and oarsman amidst frolicking children with a turtle, monkey, crow, and rabbit ascending to a kneeling winged immortal playing a drum on a stylized rockwork base and gnarling tree. Incised two character marks within an oval cartouche. Early 20th century. Height: 7 1/8"
