A PAIR OF RÉGENCE GILTWOOD CHAISES, each with arched padded backrest on fluted supports above a trapezoidal seat with a serpentine seat rail centering a carved shell issuing stylized leaves flanked by cabriole legs with "C" scrolls enclosing trailing bellflowers ending in scrolling acanthus raised on pieds-de-biche, and joined by a stylized "X" form stretcher.
