AN 18TH CENTURY BENIN PATINATED BRONZE WARRIOR FIGURE, Nigeria, cast in standing position wearing a rectangular helmet with chin strap over an oval face with large detailed almond shaped eyes, protruding nose and lips, wearing a medicine necklace, with outstretched arms, above a skirt with bands of geometric patterns, on rectangular feet with toe details, raised on a stepped rectangular black laminate plinth. Height: 19".
