A DOULTON LAMBETH BROWN GROUND STONEWARE VASE by Edith Lupton, circa 1886, the bulbous body and trumpet form neck textured with molded scrolling branches of beaded blossoms on brown ground fading to a neutral and enameled with floral sprays in mottled greenish browns and blues above a base with stylized ovals centering fluted panels, enclosing an ochre enameled interior. Impressed factory marks & numbers, 1886, incised initials EDL, HG689, 0, X. Note: rim repaired. Height: 10 3/8".
