AN ANGLO-INDIAN IVORY MOUNTED STAINED WOOD TEA CADDY, mid 19th century, of cylindrical form with central line of pink stained ivory bosses partitioned by vertical strips centering a reticulated stylized cartouche shaped escutcheon, the conforming hinged lid with molded border enclosing similar bosses and pierced scrolling foliate lozenge shaped plaques. Note: one boss on lid missing. Height: 5 1/2".
