A REGENCY FLAME MAHOGANY AND KINGWOOD TEA CADDY, early 19th century, of shaped sarcophagus form, with rectangular hinged lid centering a conforming panel and border within kingwood crossbanding opening to twin covered tea compartments and center mixing area (bowl missing), within tapering sides with ivory lozenge escutcheon flanked by brass lion's mask pulls, raised on brass ball feet. Height: 7 7/8", width: 12 1/4", depth: 7 1/8".
