A PAIR OF DOULTON LAMBETH JAPONISM EWERS by Joan Honey, NG and JB, 1883, the neutral ground textured body of stylized quatrefoil blossoms enameled with greenish brown large leaf stems ending in mottled blue and brown beaded mons, the beaded collar suspending lappet panels under a honeycomb patterned waisted neck in deep blue and brown glazes flanked by a shaped handle. Impressed factory marks and numbers: 1883, DI 31, P, incised initials & numbers JH, NG, 188, JB NG 882. Height: 4 1/2", 4 5/8". (2)
