A NEOCLASSIC STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED VERDE ANTICO MARBLE PEDESTAL, third quarter 19th century, of columnar form with reed and ball cast gadrooned capital above an applied collar of scrolling blossoming foliage, on a conforming base cast with acanthus and cabochons, raised on a stepped rectangular marmo nero Belgio plinth. Height: 42 1/8", square 11 3/4".
