A CHINESE EXPORT GRAY GROUND BEAKER, 19TH CENTURY, the tapering cylindrical body molded with shaped reserves depicting a young couple exchanging wedding vows with a priest, reversing to an interior banquet scene between similarly shaped reserves of masks issuing rams' horns between scrolled bracket beneath a flaring molded rim above floral sprays opposite fruit clusters on a base of continuous rectangles, enameled throughout in bright colors with gilt highlights and gilt interior. Overglaze gilt leaf on underside. Height: 4 1/2"
