AN EGYPTIAN REVIVAL CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMELED GILT BRONZE DISPLAY CASKET, third quarter 19th century, the rounded rectangular form with beveled glass paneled sides and hinged doors opening to a plush buttoned pale blue silk lined interior, enclosed by an exterior enameled with mottled multicolored stylized lotus blossoms within conforming stippled line decoration, on female Egyptian caryatids ending in lion's paw feet under a radiating collar raised on ball feet. Height: 9 5/8", width: 13 5/8", depth: 7 1/8".
