A NAPOLEON III BOULLE MARQUETRY AND WALNUT CLOCK, third quarter 19th century, the circular alabaster dial with blue and white enameled copper chapters within gilt metal repoussè frames centering reticulated cut steel hour and minute hands above twin port keyhole escapements framed by a shaped oval glazed door with brass and tulipwood inlaid "C" scroll reserves on walnut with brass string inlaid border alternating circular florettes within an ebonized molded frame. Movement stamped Japy Freres & Cie Exposition 1855 Grand Medaille D'Honnneur. Height: 24 3/", width: 19 1/2".
