Two American folk art Canes: 1) hickory upright top carved as a workman with mustache and short visored cap, turned shaft, 35 7/8" H.; 2) light red-brown wood, upright top, carved with head of a man with penned-in mustache and goatee, incised name "Lyon," tapered brass and iron ferrule, 35 1/4" H.
Condition report1) rubbed patina and appropriate wear, three checks affecting the head, insect damage on back of head; 2) worn patina, trace of thin varnish, nose rubbed off, bruises and scratches; submit inquiry
