TWO CANES WITH AFRICAN-FEATURED HEADS

Two canes with African-featured heads: 1) Folk Art style hickory walking stick, with head of a man wearing a round cap, the shaft retaining its original bark, composition tip, 33 7/8" H. overall; 2) ebony dress cane, with top carved as an old black man's head, inset with glass bead eyes, and silver collar, inscribed "Chile / John Haldorson / to Judge Comley / 1914;" 33 3/8" H.
Condition report
1) deep rubbed patina and wear consistent with use, tip with deep check and some missing bark; 2) nose chipped off, shaft broken and reglued, ferrule missing, submit inquiry
