Two American folk art canes with snake motif: 1) flattened bulbous head, of a piece with shaft, carved with a snake, incised with scales and smoke decoration, 34 1/2" H.; 2) vine-strangled dogwood shaft, carved with two entwined snakes, initialed "R.G." on top, 45 5/8" H.
Condition report1) yellow varnish, worn, consistent with use; 2) very light wear, with a shellack finish, submit inquiry for further details
