Two canes with silver-mounted Derby handles: 1) handle carved as a bamboo root, partly studded with silver knobs, joined to a cane shaft at a silver repousse collar inscribed "Solvay / NY" tipped with a brass ferrule; 34 1/2" H.; 2) handle mostly sheathed with engraved floral arabesque and monogram "W", joined to a malacca cane shaft and tipped with horn, 33 1/4 " H.
Condition reporteach with wear consistent with prolonged use: 1) handle with darkened cracks, trace of varnish and faux grain on shaft, tip quite worn; 2) shaft battered, with flaking varnish, submit inquiry
