Two canes with carved L handles: 1) , composed of three parts, the upright with a bird and branch on front, joined to an ebonized Malacca shaft at a brass collar, tipped with a brass ferrule, 35 1/4" H.; 2) , composed of two parts, the upright with an eagle and snake carved in relief, joined to a tapered ebony or dark rosewood shaft at a gold-filled collar, 35 1/4" H.
Condition reporteach with considerable wear consistent with use: 1) handle with darkened crack, paint on shaft old but not original; 2) eagle and snake carving damaged, handle with darkened cracks, lacks ferrule, submit inquiry
