Condition/Details: Bound in intricately embossed leather boards depicting Martin Luther and full page edge gilt, this rare antique volume is book of psalms for the Evangelical Church in Wuttermberg (Southwestern Germany). This book is beautifully typeset in beautiful Germanic typefaces (Fraktur). The volume shows advanced external wear, with a nearly detached front board and shaken rear board; the spine is detached and included. The volume is otherwise solidly bound with clear, mildly age toned pages. The book measures approximately 5" x 8" and contains 658 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
