Condition/Details: Bound in gilt embossed blue cloth boards with illustrated dustjackets, this scarce vintage set discusses the history of the Alaska Railroad from 1914-1964 and is profusely illustrated by author's beautiful color and monochrome photographs. The author, an Alaska Railroader starting in 1948, signed both volumes' title pages in blue pen. The volume shows light external wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages.
