Vintage Ute Coiled Willow Horse Pictoral Basket

Measures approx. 2 1/4 x 14 inches. Four horses with spirit line, in Four color tones. Additional informaion on this basket has come in to us from a curator of a museum familiar with this style of basketry. She stated that this basket came from White Mesa, Utah. She believes this basket could have been made by Rachel Eyetoo, who passed away in the 1990s. There are only five ladies from White Mesa weaving baskets today. SHI $20.
