Overprint "Pagavel/na Filia de Loanda" at right center; early branch issue.  Loanda is the telltale that this is an Angola issue, and this type is the apparent precursor to the similar looking issue which has Loanda in red at upper center (see LOT 1008).  Several tears, primarily at left center, upper and lower center, and right center.  Questions remain unanswered, such as why this was apparently the only denomination in its series with this overprint.  Exceptionally rare and mysterious.
