Everyone wants a piece of the action when the stock market has an IPO, and this currency "IPO" will generate plenty of excitement for our market. The only difference is we have only one share to sell, this single sheet. It has never been offered before in a public sale, nor was it seen in any other venue that was available to Track & Price or the Gengerke Census. The sheet itself is beautiful, with serial numbers 21 - 24. There are folds between the notes, but in each case they are outside of any design features. The single flaw is a piece of paper missing from the top selvedge and well away from the top note. Just two other uncut sheets are known for the $2 1899 Silver Certificates, a Fr. 252 sheet in similar grade that was offered in 2001 and a Very Fine sheet with these same signatures that was last available nearly a decade ago. Graded Abt. UNC 55 EPQ by PMG.
