New Hampshire , 30 Shillings    Aug. 24, 1775 

A note of beautiful quality but split in half and glued back together on the fold, otherwise virtually as made. This note #992, signed by E. Thompson and N. Gilman, was previously from the Ford Collection sale where it realized $3,365 and was described as, "Uniface, standard typeset design in different size. Bright and vivid. Extremely Fine. However, this paper is prone to break on the first crease. The vertical with nearly a full split, glued together from the back. Two side sheet folds. Wide right margin. Bold and vivid from the face with much eye appeal."
